Role Purpose
The role of the resourcing agent
is to actively source and attract a range of new, quality partners for
the Recruitment and Lettings Team. Attraction of these partners will
involve targeted recruitment for specific projects or "priority sites"
as well as generic for the leased business as a whole. In addition to
attracting partners from within the pub trade, identification and
attraction of partners external to the industry will be fundamental to
the role.
This will ensure that we are
able to deliver our strategy of "right customer, right pub" and improve
the quality of our customers which will enable us together, to build
sustainable pub businesses.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop a marketing and attraction strategy to ensure a consistent pipeline of quality applicants
- Evaluate, propose and deliver marketing activities to drive applications through various media including exhibitions, road shows, open days, ATL and BTL advertising and job boards.
- Collate a "bank" of effective advertising mediums that will appeal to a variety of profiles from both within and outside of the business and recommend the most cost effective and efficient ones to use
- Research and identify creative and innovative ways to attract profiles from outside of the industry, taking advantage of current economic climate and availability of quality people within the job market eg targeting companies at risk of redundancy; outsourcing agents
- Target specific populations that the company have identified as potential business partners to apply for a Punch pub
- Recommend which major hospitality and retail events are available to attend that will support the talent pipeline and support Punch attendance where required
- Ensure that the talent bank has the right number of profiles commensurate with the needs of the business and adjust method of sourcing specifically where a profile is running low
- Work with recruitment management to recommend materials that are needed to "sell" the company in the appropriate way
- Ensure the "talent bank" is maintained, working closely with the selection co-ordinators, so that all applicant circumstances are up to date and accurate
- Make outbound calls to suitable applicants in the talent bank specifically to support BRMs in progressing "priority lets"
Qualifications
- Proven and transferable experience in a recruitment and resourcing role, ideally from a retail, sales or marketing background
- Has a broad understanding of retail and has or can develop understanding specifically of pub industry
- Good customer and supplier relationship management skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages

- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrable experience in designing and delivering effective/innovative attraction and retention strategies
- Ability to plan and manage workload effectively, meet tight deadlines and manage several projects simultaneously
